Established in1996, Victorian Babysitting Service has a proven record of providing excellent childcare and peace of mind for parents in and around Melbourne.

All our babysitters are thoroughly screened. Successful applicants are required to undergo a Police check, have a current First Aid certificate and purchase Public Liability Insurance before receiving assignments.

• We operate the service with between 60 - 80 sitters who are registered with the agency.
• Their ages range from 18 years to 70.
• Sitters are required to provide their own transport to and from assignments.

Our sitters bring with them a diversity of skills, experience and qualifications from babysitting, nannying, childcare, teaching and nursing. With this broad range of ages, experience and training, Victorian Babysitting Service can confidently accommodate the care requirements of our valued customers.

The Service is available:

• in most suburbs within a 20-30 kilometre radius from Melbourne. Demand for babysitting in outer areas will see further expansion of the service.

MY BACKGROUND

Prior to purchasing the business in May 2000, I had been employed with the agency as office manager for six months, and babysat for the agency since 1998. I have 15 years experience working in Family Day Care Co-ordinating Units as a Fieldworker/Area Manager. I am qualified Pre School Mothercraft Nurse, completing my Diploma of Community Service (Childcare) in 1997 as a mature aged student. I continue to babysit for the agency.
